After years of trading on behalf of major financial institutions, the firm’s founders established Granite Capital as a private partnership in 2000. The firm sought to capitalize on extensive trading experience in the institutional markets, as well as, relationships with nearly every major securities and banking firm in the industry.
In 2007, Granite began offering limited investment advisory services and recently changed the firm’s sole focus to this business. After more than 40 years of combined experience trading the markets, the firm’s founders decided to put their hard-won professional expertise to work directly for clients in the investment advisory business.
